Job summary

Huron Consulting Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer for the Clinical Insights team in Chicago, IL. You will lead the development of healthcare analytics products, design ETL processes, maintain data pipelines, and build dashboards using Python and R.

Mentoring teammates and collaborating with product leadership are key aspects of the role. You should have a BS degree in CS/IS/Engineering, 5+ years in software development, and strong DB skills (MySQL).

Qualifications

• U.S. work authorization is required.
• B.S. degree with a focus in computer science, information systems, engineering and/or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience and/or leading a project or team.
• Proficiency in relational database concepts, with a preference for MySQL.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or equivalent languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of healthcare analytics products within the Clinical Insights team.
• Design and maintain ETL processes for data transformation and data pipelines.
• Create data visualizations and dashboards, and implement machine learning algorithms.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with product managers and consultants.
