Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Jersey City is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - AI/ML Solutions to drive the design, build, and maintenance of scalable ML platforms. You will empower data scientists and ML engineers to develop, deploy, and monitor models securely at scale.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, implement production-grade CI/CD for ML, and ensure platform reliability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring and automation.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining ML platforms or infrastructure.
• Advanced in Python and one or more ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with data processing frameworks/tools (Spark, Pandas, SQL).
• Practical experience with cloud-based ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform, Azure ML) or on-prem ML infra.
• Strong understanding of MLOps, including CI/CD for ML, model versioning, and monitoring.
• Experience developing APIs and platform services for ML workflows.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains scalable ML platforms and infrastructure for end-to-end ML workflows.
• Develops and optimizes tools for training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Integrates data engineering, feature management, and model serving into unified ML platform solutions.
• Implements secure, production-grade code for platform services and automation pipelines.
• Leads requirement gathering with data scientists and product teams to deliver platform features.
