JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to drive architecture, design, and delivery of AI/ML data platforms. You will build secure, scalable cloud-native services on AWS, lead production-grade LLM applications, and guide teams through code reviews, testing, and governance.

The role emphasizes responsible AI practices, cross-team collaboration with product, risk, and compliance, and delivering high-quality software with observable, reliable systems in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years applied experience in software engineering and AI/ML.
• Experience deploying LLM-backed services to production (APIs, microservices).
• Strong Python engineering skills and deep knowledge of ML frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions and set engineering standards.
• Experience with vector storage systems and agent design.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to business and engineering teams and align priorities with stakeholders.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and lead code reviews.
• Drive architecture decisions influencing product design and operations.
• Serve as SME in one or more focus areas and resolve complex problems.
