Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years experience.
• Experience building production LLM applications with agentic workflows.
• Strong cloud-native design on AWS with containers and serverless.
• Proficient in distributed systems with asynchronous messaging and scalable data access.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation and prompt lifecycle.
• Ability to implement model evaluation and monitoring for reliability and safety.
• Strong API design and secure integration patterns.
• Proven technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-team influence.
• Hands-on use of enterprise AI development tools with code quality checks.
• Understanding responsible AI, data sensitivity, and secure practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and delivery of scalable agentic AI platforms.
• Design production-grade AI systems including agents, memory, guardrails.
• Architect retrieval and context-engineering approaches.
• Engineer cloud-native AI services on AWS using containers/serverless.
• Optimize platform performance (latency, throughput, cost).
• Build well-governed APIs and integrations.
• Establish evaluation and observability frameworks.
• Define engineering standards for reliability and security.
• Mentor senior engineers and influence direction.
• Apply enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve code quality.
• Use SDLC tooling for AI-assisted development.
