Job summary

Altasciences is seeking a Scientist, LCMS to lead and execute diverse assays, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance across studies. You will develop and validate methods, coordinate material and timelines, and be the key client contact for lab services.

The role requires a chemistry-related degree, 3+ years in regulated studies, and strong troubleshooting with bilingual English/French communication. Telework when applicable and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Ideally College degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Immunology or applicable field.
• Typically 3 years of experience in regulated clinical and/or preclinical studies.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Scientist or equivalent.
• Knowledge of regulatory agency guidelines and GLP/GCP regulations.
• Strong communication skills in English and French; ability to coach/mentor.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, manage and conduct multiple assay types ensuring scientific quality and client satisfaction.
• Serve as main client contact for laboratory services on assigned studies.
• Perform method development, validation or sample analysis and lead related projects.
• Coordinate materials, manage timelines and ensure study documentation is compliant.
• Provide QC support and data review, including deviation tracking and reporting.
• Mentor analysts and collaborate with team members to achieve study goals.
