Job summary

Nelson Labs is seeking an experienced Chemist III to lead LC-MS data analysis and method development in our Analytical Chemistry team. You will act as technical expert, validate methods, mentor staff, and collaborate directly with clients to ensure accurate results and project success.

Responsibilities include developing and validating SOPs, overseeing LC-MS studies, and contributing to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance within a GMP/GLP environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry preferred; or Bachelor’s/Master’s in Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum five years of applicable laboratory experience.
• Strong knowledge of LC-MS chemistry, methods, and data analysis activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for LC-MS testing and analytical techniques.
• Develop, validate, and document analytical methods and SOPs.
• Lead method development and validation for new/ existing testing approaches.
• Mentor laboratory professionals and collaborate with clients on testing projects.
• Ensure data traceability and compliant reporting of results.
