Job summary

Nelson Labs is seeking an experienced Chemist III to serve as a technical expert within the LC-MS data analysis team of the Analytical Chemistry group. You will oversee the LC-MS portion of studies, ensuring accurate interpretation, analysis, documentation, and reporting of results.

You will develop and validate methods, mentor laboratory staff, and partner with clients. The role includes method development, instrument validation, continuous improvement, and participation in industry standards

Qualifications

• PhD preferred; or Bachelor’s/Master’s in Chemistry with five+ years lab experience.
• Strong LC-MS knowledge and data analysis experience.
• GMP/GLP/ISO 17025 or similar regulated lab knowledge.
• Experience with extractables & leachables testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as LC-MS technical expert and evaluate data for scientific suitability.
• Develop, write, review and validate SOPs and analytical methods.
• Perform method development and validation for new testing methods.
• Mentor laboratory staff and collaborate with clients on testing projects.
• Lead or support method validation, workflow improvements and regulatory compliance.
