Job summary

TJFACT is seeking a highly experienced Law Enforcement Advisor to support the Department of State–INL/AME at the U.S. Embassy Accra, Ghana.

The role involves advising, monitoring, and managing training for Ghanaian security services and regional partners, with extensive engagement in field operations, policy development, and program implementation. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in law enforcement, program planning, and international work, including prior overseas experience in

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizens, TCNs, or Local Nationals eligible for the position.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in public administration or related field.
• Minimum twelve years of experience with U.S. law enforcement or military and demonstrated leadership duties.
• Experience working overseas in an Embassy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level subject matter expertise in coordinating program planning, designing, technical assistance, and implementation.
• Assist in development of program strategies and implementation for INL projects.
• Monitor and report on significant developments in INL-funded programming and provide technical advice to U.S. and host-nation partners.
• Coordinate with regional security services to assess needs and sustainment plans for INL programs.
• Uphold Leahy Vetting requirements for all foreign assistance training and materiel activities.
