Job description

What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

BASIC FUNCTION: The Senior Laundry Tech will perform and/or oversee the preventive maintenance and repairs of existing equipment as well as consider, plan and execute upgrades and new installations of laundry equipment.

• Status: Full Time
• Availability: 1st Shift, weekends and holidays preferred.
• Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 - Based on Experience
• Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center

Essential Functions

• Maintain all laundry equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, including proactive scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Responsible for correct use of maintenance request and preventive maintenance system. Training provided.
• Coach and mentor other technicians, providing them with knowledge and experience to help enhance their skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient workspace. Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
• Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
• Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.
• Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center

• Four years’ experience in laundry equipment repair and maintenance.
• Highly skilled in electrical and mechanical controls.
• Strong ability to utilize all aspects of an electrical multi meter.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical diagrams.
• Skilled with using tools required in this trade.
• Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.
