Job summary

Marvin Engineering Company (MEC) in Southern California is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the Launch Systems PMO’s largest and most complex contracts. The role supports the Senior Director and collaborates with prime contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Boeing and SAAB.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, and program performance, coordinating with engineering, contracts, and operations to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of directly applicable program management experience, including large contracts.
• U.S. Citizenship and ITAR access requirements compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the organization’s largest and most complex contracts and program portfolios with budget oversight and P&L accountability.
• Review, negotiate, and approve contracts, purchase orders, and amendments, including high-value agreements.
• Lead proposal and quoting activities for major pursuits, including pricing strategy and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate across sales, contracts, supply chain, production, operations, engineering to ensure on-time delivery.
• Mentor and guide Program Managers and Deputy Program Managers; support the PMO leadership.
• Travel to customer sites, trade shows, or conferences as required.
• Execute duties in compliance with MEC policies and procedures.
