Job summary

The Marvin Group, based in Southern California near LAX, seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead the Launch Systems PMO’s largest and most complex contracts. The role requires strategic budget, schedule, and performance oversight with accountability for outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in defense/aerospace program management, strong leadership, EVM proficiency, and cross-functional coordination with major primes. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field; 10+ years of program management in defense/aerospace.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to meet government access requirements.
• Experience with large, complex or high-value contracts; cross-functional leadership.
• Certifications such as PMP or Program Management are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage largest, most complex contracts and portfolios with budget/P&L oversight.
• Negotiate contracts, purchase orders, and amendments of high value.
• Lead proposals, pricing strategy, and competitive positioning.
• Coordinate across sales, contracts, supply chain, operations, and engineering to ensure on-time delivery.
• Mentor program managers and act for Senior Director when needed.
