Job summary

The Marvin Group, a defense contractor based in Southern California, seeks an experienced engineer to lead program/project engineering across the product development lifecycle for pneumatic, mechanical, and electromechanical systems. You will coordinate with contracts, systems, manufacturing, and supply chain to drive design, testing, and production readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering with 7+ years in Aerospace/Defense.
Strong CAD literacy and ability to interpret engineering drawings (GD&T).
Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in aerospace/defense.
Experience across the engineering product development lifecycle from requirements to production.
Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and support program/project engineering across the development lifecycle from contract award to production.
Define problem statements and ensure programmatic delivery to customer requirements.
Interface with internal/external stakeholders to drive technical and programmatic deliverables.
Collaborate with subcontractors on analyses, testing, and development activities.
Contribute to SETR events (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and milestone inputs.
