Job summary

Cooper Standard is seeking a Launch Manager to ensure flawless execution of new program launches within the ISG portfolio. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, program management, sales and manufacturing to achieve 0-0-100-100-30 launch metrics and drive risk mitigation.

You will monitor and report program status using CLauS dashboards and coordinate with process leads to maintain schedule and budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related technical discipline.
10+ years of progressive experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing with increasing responsibility in program management, launch management, manufacturing operations, or a combination.
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Designated as process owner with authority to coordinate and manage processes.
Lead and oversee programs and projects assigned to his/her department.
Ensure on-time execution of CLauS (Cooper Standard Launch System) and related tasks at plant level.
Lead engineering changes directed by customer and manufacturing.
Provide support during quoting process.
Interact with Program Manager, Program Engineer, Program Buyer, Account Manager and Finance.
