Job summary

LEO Pharma GmbH is seeking an Associate Director, Specialty Pharmacy & Trade Relations to lead specialty pharmacy, patient affordability, and trade strategies for a rare disease brand in launch preparation. You will build capabilities, partnerships, and processes to support a successful commercial launch and oversee the specialty pharmacy network and copay programs, aligning cross-functional teams for optimal patient access.

Experience in rare disease therapies is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in pharma, biotech, specialty pharmacy or related healthcare.
• 5+ years supporting specialty, rare disease, or highly specialized therapies.
• Strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations and network models.
• Experience developing or managing commercial copay/patient affordability programs.
• Demonstrated pharmaceutical launch or launch-readiness experience.
• Experience managing external vendors and strategic partners.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the brand-specific trade and distribution strategy.
• Oversee specialty pharmacy network design, contracting, and launch readiness.
• Build specialty pharmacy and copay infrastructure to support launch.
• Partner cross-functionally to design end-to-end patient journey from prescription to fulfillment.
• Establish KPIs and reporting for channel performance and opportunities to improve speed to therapy.
