Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in machining and quality processes is desired.
• Some exposure to manufacturing / CNC machining processes.
• Understand continuous improvement or lean / six sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain machining equipment.
• Read blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Select programs, fixtures, tooling, and inserts.
• Confer with engineers to resolve machining or assembly problems.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and 5S in the work area.
