Job summary

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP seeks a Lateral Partner Recruiting Specialist to join a high-energy growth team across our U.S. offices. You will manage the full recruiting lifecycle for partner candidates, delivering a white-glove experience to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in recruiting, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Prior legal recruiting experience with lateral partner, associate and/or judicial clerkship recruiting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Zoom, Teams and applicant tracking systems (iCIMS or LawCruit) preferred.
• Extraordinary verbal and written communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Organizational and time-management skills are essential.
• Ability to be innovative and operate in an enthusiastic manner with a broad range of professionals.
• Demonstrated experience working independently and on teams.
• Ability to manage concurrent projects and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work irregular evening and weekend hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Guide candidates through the full recruiting lifecycle from submission to integration.
• Serve as a primary recruiting contact for partner candidates.
• Collaborate with Sr. Manager of Growth & Integration and Chief Growth & Integration Officer to execute top recruiting priorities.
• Represent Orrick to candidates and search firms as an ambassador.
• Identify credentials that predict successful Orrick partners.
