Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T to verify tooling and part dimensions.
• Generating and analyzing 3D scan data and CAD comparisons for dimensional conformance.
• Creating dimensional reports and inspection documentation with traceable results.
• Performing tolerance analyses and root-cause investigations for dimensional issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D laser scanning and dimensional inspection of components, tooling, and fixtures.
• Generate point clouds and CAD comparisons using metrology software.
• Support tooling launches, validation, and engineering changes with measurement data.
• Lead complex scanning projects and mentor junior technicians as needed.
• Maintain calibration of laser scanning equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Travel to manufacturing sites across the US, Canada, and Mexico as required.
