Job summary

AEP in Columbus, OH is seeking a seasoned Economic Forecasting professional to lead Large Load forecasting, data center forecasting, and performance tracking across Operating Companies. You will interface with FP&A and grid planning, shaping forecasts and reporting for executive leadership.

You will drive regulatory filings, oversee RTO activities, and develop forecast assumptions to support revenue planning and infrastructure decisions, with an emphasis on analytics and dashboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, operations research, statistics, economics, data science, computer science or related technical field is required.
• 8 years of experience required; equivalent combination considered (Principal-level).
• 10 years of experience required; equivalent combination may be considered (Staff-level).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Large Load and Data Center Forecasting process and reporting, engaging with Operating Companies and using internal systems.
• Support regulatory filings related to Large Load, including IRPs, New Generation Filings, and Rate Cases; oversee PJM Load Addition submissions.
• Develop Large Load assumptions for annual load forecast to support revenue and infrastructure planning; provide scenario guidance to leadership.
