Job summary

Building Blocks Facades is seeking a hands-on operator/technician for its Merritt Island print cell. You will manage the entire print process from file review to final part, coordinating with design and engineering to ensure printable geometry and reliable results.

The role emphasizes process control, material readiness, and maintaining detailed records to trace any defect to its root cause. Relocation support may be available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Three or more years operating large-format robotic or gantry-based additive manufacturing systems in production/industrial settings.
• Ability to read part files and catch issues before printing.
• Willingness to relocate to Merritt Island, FL or be located nearby.
• Experience coordinating with design and engineering on printable geometries.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run large-scale robotic printer end-to-end, including reviewing job files, staging material, and executing prints.
• Program and adjust toolpaths and print parameters in CAM/slicing software.
• Monitor bead consistency, layer adhesion, cure behavior, and adjust parameters to prevent defects.
• Maintain a detailed print log with parameters, material lots, and environmental conditions.
• Train and mentor other operators as the program scales and SOPs are created.
