Job summary

Quanex is hiring a Forklift Driver II for the Day Shift at our Bowling Green, Kentucky location. You will operate a large capacity forklift to move materials to and from kilns, work areas, and machines in a safe, efficient manner to meet production needs.

The role requires 1–2 years of forklift experience on 15,000 lb.+ capacity machines, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and the stamina to work in a fast-paced environment. We offer competitive wages, PTO, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience operating 15,000 lb.+ capacity forklifts.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Pass OSHA required testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate a large capacity forklift to transport materials to kiln areas and machines.
• Load, unload, and stack blanks of wood as needed.
• Maintain safety procedures and report issues.
• Perform basic forklift maintenance/inspection.
