Job summary

Casino Del Sol is seeking a Landscaper II to maintain grounds, assist with irrigation and landscaping projects, and support the facilities team. The role involves physical work outdoors, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring guest areas are clean and presentable.

Candidates should have 3 years of landscaping experience, a valid AZ driver’s license, and the ability to pass pre-employment screening. The position may require shifts, weekends, and travel to casino properties.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of landscaping methods, techniques, materials, chemicals, and equipment.
• Knowledge of turf types, soil, and drainage.
• Knowledge of plant health and pests.
• Knowledge of basic landscape design.

Responsibilities

• Performs the duties of Landscaper 1.
• Maintains irrigation systems and winterizes in off-season.
• Adjusts water usage to prevent waste.
• Assists with sod laying and cutting.
• Applies fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides.
• Builds forms and pours cement for borders and planters.
• Maintains tools and equipment, and repairs as needed.
• Operates and maintains landscaping equipment safely.
• Travel to Casino Del Sol properties as required.
