Job summary

WindRiver Living in Kentucky seeks a Landscape Superintendent to lead landscape maintenance across the WindRiver Lakefront and Golf Community, coordinating crews and ensuring outstanding appearance, safety, and environmental stewardship.

You will partner with senior leadership, manage installations for new homes, oversee budgets, schedules, and staff development, and act as an ambassador for the brand with residents and contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years landscape maintenance and installation experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, turf management, irrigation systems, and landscape construction practices.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Certification in pesticide application (or willingness to obtain).
• Bilingual preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Equipment Operator License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of landscaping technicians, laborers, and seasonal staff.
• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of common areas and installations for new homes.
• Coordinate landscape installations for new homes, including sod laying, tree and shrub planting, irrigation, and hardscape elements.
• Manage budgeting, scheduling, and procurement for landscaping projects.
• Engage with residents, builders, and contractors to ensure alignment with WindRiver’s standards.
• Promote safety and enforce company policies across all landscapes activities.
• Represent the landscaping department in executive and community engagement activities.
