Gothic Landscape in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Account Manager to build lasting relationships with commercial clients and lead maintenance crews. Qualifications

• 5 years of commercial landscape experience with client and crew management experience strongly preferred.
• Proven success managing a large portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts
• 2 or 4 year college degree in horticulture landscape management business or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered
• 23 years of experience training and managing multiple landscape crews gardeners or field employees
• 3 years of customer service sales account management or comparable experience
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to identify opportunities and sell additional landscape services
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare and present proposals and bids
• Excellent time management organizational and problem solving skills
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with branch leadership and field teams
• Ability to build trust and credibility with clients employees and coworkers

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial landscape clients through consistent communication responsiveness and exceptional service
• Ensure customers receive high quality timely service and that client expectations are consistently met
• Lead and support landscape maintenance crews including morning dispatch workload planning performance management coaching and addressing employee or customer concerns
• Conduct proactive property and site quality inspections and communicate findings and action plans to both clients and internal teams
• Identify opportunities for additional services and develop proposals and bids that create value for our customers
• Network within the market and generate referrals and new business opportunities
• Help grow the branchs contract base within targeted market segments and geographic areas
• Partner with branch leadership to achieve goals related to customer retention quality growth employee development and profitability
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their needs and proactively recommending solutions
