Job summary

The Kleingers Group is seeking a Landscape Architecture Group Leader in Saint Petersburg, FL. You will lead design from concept through construction documentation for parks, streetscapes, and master plans, while managing client relationships and development opportunities.

You will guide design teams, oversee construction documentation, and present to clients and public agencies. The role requires licensure in Florida and a strong track record in leadership and business development.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
• Licensed Landscape Architect in the state of Florida is required.
• Advanced understanding of design and construction documentation.
• Ability to lead projects to timely, on-budget completion.
• Proven skills in mentoring staff and team leadership.
• Experience in business development and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager on landscape architecture projects.
• Consult with stakeholders and staff on project requirements.
• Maintain client retention and satisfaction.
• Render and document concepts through construction documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers.
• Monitor progress and ensure design specs and standards are met.
• Mentor, coach, and evaluate assigned staff.
• Lead and participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Drive business development and growth within target markets.
