Job summary

The Kleingers Group, Tampa/St. Pete office, seeks a Group Leader, Engineering to drive civil engineering projects and growth. You will lead study and design phases, manage budgets, and guide a team in planning and execution while engaging with clients and pursuing new business opportunities.

Florida-licensed professional with ten years of civil engineering experience will drive performance, develop staff, and expand revenue in a client-focused, ESOP-driven firm.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum ten consecutive years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Public speaking ability required.
• Assign Co-Ops, Graduate Civil Engineers and Senior staff to projects.
• Motivate and lead assigned team to on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Hire, train and evaluate assigned staff; develop and mentor the team.
• Develop expertise in the assigned market and lead business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects in planning, evaluation, design and implementation of civil engineering efforts.
• Oversee study and design phases for civil, environmental, construction, and industrial projects.
• Lead client interaction, proposals and budgeting decisions.
• Write proposals and plans; manage sell-and-deliver activities with clients.
• Assign work, oversee progress and ensure quality and timeliness.
