Job summary

Barge Design Solutions seeks a Landscape Architect to join its LA/P practice in the Site Solutions unit, based in Chattanooga or Nashville, TN. You will contribute to urban design, housing, mixed‑use and streetscape projects across the Southeast, working with a multidisciplinary team to create sustainable, meaningful spaces.

Requirements include a BA in Landscape Architecture, 4+ years of experience, licensure, and proficiency with design tools. Portfolio samples are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and licensure in landscape architecture.
• Minimum of four years of landscape architecture experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp and MS Office.
• Strong written, verbal and graphic communication; ability to present to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to urban design and planning projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Assist in preparing plans, master plans, zoning changes and entitlements.
• Explain design concepts to clients and stakeholders at meetings and in reports.
• Provide technical leadership on project scope, budgets and schedules.
