Job summary

Barge Design Solutions, Inc. seeks a Landscape Architect to join the LA/P practice in the Site Solutions unit, based in Chattanooga or Nashville.

You will contribute to urban design, housing, streetscapes, and institutional projects across the Southeast, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality plans and visualizations. Qualified candidates will have a BLA, at least four years of experience, licensure, and strong skills in CAD, 3D modeling, and graphics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture is required.
• Minimum four years of landscape architecture experience.
• Registration as Landscape Architect is required.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
• Strong written, oral, and graphic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver urban design and planning products.
• Prepare master plans, zoning changes, subdivisions, and entitlement applications.
• Explain planning concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance on scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Direct CAD technicians and mentor junior staff.
