Job summary

Thomas Young Group in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead multidisciplinary projects from concept to completion and to mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance environment.

You will manage budgets, schedules and deliverables while developing business opportunities through proposals and client presentations, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• 10+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
• Licensed Landscape Architect in Texas.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and leading project teams.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Experience in proposals, presentations, and negotiating contracts for business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee landscape architecture projects from concept through to completion
• Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
• Manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring design excellence, adherence to budgets, schedules, and deliverables
• Develop and implement business development strategies through proposals and client presentations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to create new business opportunities
