Job summary

CMP Services is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead landscape architecture, site planning, greening, irrigation, and sustainability projects for LAUSD facilities in Los Angeles. You will provide technical direction to design teams, manage projects from concept through construction, and ensure compliance with District standards.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years of professional experience, 3+ years in supervision, and strong AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and construction documentation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture.
10+ years of professional landscape architecture experience.
3+ years of supervisory experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and construction documentation.
Experience with graphic design and rendering software (Adobe Suite, Photoshop, etc.).

Responsibilities

Oversee the staff, projects, programs, and activities of the Landscape Unit, providing leadership and guidance.
Provide technical direction to consultant landscape architects and other design professionals.
Serve as Landscape Architect of Record and certify plans and documents.
Direct and supervise landscape drawings, specs, and construction documents.
Coordinate with principals, teachers, parents groups, and stakeholders on projects.
