Job summary

CMTS LLC, based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to lead large-scale district projects for LAUSD Facilities Services Division, Maintenance & Operations. The role requires directing landscape architecture staff, coordinating with consultants and stakeholders, and serving as the Landscape Architect of Record from planning through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from a recognized college or university.
• At least 10 years of professional landscape architectural design experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience leading landscape architects and related staff.
• Experience with large-scale capital improvement programs and public agency projects.
• Ability to serve as Landscape Architect of Record.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of landscape architecture and site improvement projects.
• Oversee complex landscape projects including campus sites and greening initiatives.
• Serve as Landscape Architect of Record for District-designed projects.
• Direct landscape architecture teams through all design phases.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and district stakeholders.
