Devon is seeking a Senior Landman to join a disciplined, interdisciplinary team in Oklahoma City. The role focuses on supporting oil and gas exploration through detailed land management, lease negotiation, and compliance with regulatory orders.

You will draft and negotiate lease agreements, review title opinions, and coordinate data from internal and external sources to reduce risk and enable production. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in leasing/land transactions, a strong regulatory

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Business Administration or related discipline; Juris Doctorate or commensurate experience required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Leasing and Negotiation, Land Transactions Due Diligence, Contract Drafting or related field; industry experience preferred.
• Certified Professional Landman (CPL) preferred

Responsabilidades

• Provide assistance in moderately complex land matters for oil and gas exploration and production.
• Negotiate disposition of leasehold rights and draft agreements (Purchase and Sale, Farm out, Exploration, Joint Operating).
• Coordinate collection and evaluation of land, commercial and regulatory data; review record title ownership and cures.
• Support preparation and compliance of orders and permits from federal or regulatory agencies.
• Organize and manage multiple land projects, prioritize deadlines, and communicate with leadership.
• Interpret lease provisions, contracts, and laws to assess risks and maintain land data; monitor lease obligations.
• Engage with mineral owners and working interest partners; maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor others on land projects and stay informed about regulatory changes affecting land management.
• Provide insights on market trends to support decision-making.
