Job summary

EQV Group seeks a Senior Landman in Oklahoma City to conduct complex land work supporting acquisitions, divestitures, and lease maintenance. You will lead title reviews, manage curative efforts, and coordinate with Legal, Regulatory, and other teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of oil and gas leases, division orders, and advanced land concepts, with experience across multiple states. In-office position with opportunity to influence deal structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Petroleum Land Management, Energy Management, Business Administration, Law)
• Minimum 5 years as a Landman
• Strong knowledge of mineral and royalty interests, leases, and division order processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex ownership concepts

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct complex land work, evaluating records, titles, abstracts, leases, and related instruments
• Lead title review and curative efforts on difficult assignments
• Plan acquisitions, divestitures, leasing, trades, and development programs
• Represent the company at land or lease sales and support negotiations
• Draft sophisticated lease forms and amendments and coordinate cross-functional problem solving with Legal and Regulatory teams
