Devon Energy Corporation is seeking a Senior Landman in Oklahoma City to support oil and gas exploration and production initiatives. You will manage leasehold rights, review title opinions, and advise on regulatory requirements within an interdisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes drafting, negotiating, interpreting, and maintaining all exploration and production agreements, while coordinating data collection and title cures. A strong background in land management and negotiation is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Leasing and Negotiation, Land Transaction Due Diligence, or Contract Drafting.
• Strong knowledge of title examination, regulatory requirements, and lease records management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate disposition of leasehold rights and draft Purchase and Sale, Farm out, Exploration, and Joint Operating Agreements.
• Coordinate collection and evaluation of land and regulatory data; review title ownership and cure deficiencies.
• Provide strategic recommendations to leadership and mentor others on land projects.
• Interpret lease and contract provisions to assess risks and maintain land data accuracy.
• Engage with mineral owners, working interest partners, and internal/external stakeholders to support production and development.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Energy Management, Business Administration or related
