Job summary

EOG Resources, Inc. in Ohio seeks an experienced landman to negotiate, analyze, interpret, and prepare contracts and leases for active development and exploratory drilling programs.

The role requires evaluating title opinions, curing title issues, and supervising lease brokers while managing prospect expenditures. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5–7 years of land and contracts experience, and demonstrates strong negotiation, interpersonal, and mapping

• Strong negotiator with ability to assemble acreage blocks and wells, and cure title for active development and exploratory drilling programs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written.

Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 5-7 years of land and contracts experience. Must be a strong negotiator with the ability to put acreage blocks and wells together and cure title for active development and exploratory drilling programs. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written. Must be able to handle multiple projects and obtain results in a performance driven, team-oriented environment. Mapping and systems skills required. Position will be filled commensurate with experience.
