Job summary

Montgomery Personnel is seeking an Equipment Operator for the City of Montgomery Landfill Department. You will operate maintenance and heavy equipment, perform routine upkeep, and ensure safety on diverse work sites.

Required: a current CDL and at least six months of experience operating moderate-sized equipment; ability to travel across rough surfaces; and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in the operation of moderate-sized equipment such as trucks, small dump trucks and/or tractors.
• Must have a current CDL.
• Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operates maintenance equipment and heavy equipment.
• Maintains equipment, tools, and work area.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
