WM is seeking a Landfill District Manager II in Naples, FL to lead the Collier County Landfill’s overall business performance, safety, and profitability. You will manage a team of managers, drive capital planning, and ensure regulatory compliance while optimizing asset use and service excellence.

The role requires extensive operations leadership in heavy industry, with budgeting, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.

Formación

• Requires an associate degree or equivalent combined with relevant work experience.
• Experience leading large operations, with P&L responsibility and safety focus.
• Proven track record in budgeting, asset utilization, and team development.

Responsabilidades

• Manages the District's day-to-day operations and supports Operations Managers.
• Ensures safety, service, and savings through effective supervision.
• Monitors budgets and operating metrics, improves processes and performance.
• Oversees capital budget execution and asset utilization.
• Leads investigations of injuries/incidents with coaching and retraining.
• Manages staff hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance reviews.
• Sets short- and long-term goals with senior management and plans actions.
• Participates in regular P&L reviews and cost optimization programs.
• Interacts with agencies and negotiates contracts; positions WM as a good corporate citizen.
• Engages suppliers and drives continuous improvement through feedback.
