Job summary

Continental Resources, Inc. seeks a senior-level Landman to handle broad and complex land duties supporting acquisition, development and divestiture activities.

You will work with limited supervision on challenging assignments, lead title review, and coordinate cross-functional problem solving with Legal, Regulatory, and Operations. The role requires a bachelor's degree related to land management and a minimum of eight years as a Landman.

Qualifications

• Experience in evaluating records, titles, abstracts, leases and related instruments.
• Strong negotiation and contract drafting capabilities for complex deals.
• Proven ability to manage title reviews, curative efforts and ownership issues.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct complex land work and evaluate ownership, burdens, and development opportunities.
• Lead title review and curative efforts on difficult assignments and resolve complex defects.
• Plan acquisitions, divestitures, leasing, trades, and development programs with limited supervision.
• Represent the company at land or lease sales and support bid strategies and market evaluation.
