Job summary

Stantec is seeking a licensed Land Surveyor with 7+ years of experience to lead complex surveying projects in Illinois. The role involves planning, supervising field crews, sealing survey documents, and coordinating client communications across Naperville and Lombard locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Geomatics, Surveying or related field and licensure.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in surveying or related field.
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of surveying principles, local laws and QA/QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sign and seal survey documents.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate technical aspects of projects; may manage survey projects.
• Engage with clients to discuss projects and identify new business opportunities.
• Lead field crews and assign daily tasks and quality checks.
• Assist with business development, proposals, and project reviews.
