Job summary

Stantec is seeking a seasoned Licensed Land Surveyor for the Naperville/Chicago area to lead boundary surveys, prepare accurate survey products, and supervise field crews. The role requires signing and sealing survey documents and taking responsibility for work performed under supervision.

You will collaborate with clients, manage project workflows, and contribute to business development while ensuring QA/QC across survey deliverables. A strong background in geomatics and CAD tools is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Surveying or related field and licensure in Land Surveying or equivalent.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in geomatics/surveying.
Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills.
Proficient with survey data processing and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

Sign and seal survey documents.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate technical aspects of projects; may lead survey projects.
Engage with clients to discuss projects, performance, and opportunities.
Lead field crews, assign tasks, and review work products.
Assist with business development, proposals, and project QA/QC.
