Job summary

Colorado Department of Transportation in Colorado's Region 4 seeks a Professional Land Surveyor II to oversee all survey activities from scoping through final Right-of-Way monumentation. The role coordinates with engineers, ROW staff, and consultants to ensure compliance with CDOT standards.

Responsibilities include supervising the survey team, managing field and office tasks, and delivering ROW diagrams and exhibits.

Qualifications

• A valid Professional Land Surveyor license from the Colorado State Board is required.
• Minimum one year of experience as a licensed professional land surveyor.
• Experience with right-of-way plans and plats is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise all survey activities from project initiation to final Right-of-Way monumentation.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineers, ROW Manager, Roadway Designers, and consultants.
• Supervise survey team progress and ensure coordination with region personnel on design and ROW issues.
• Produce ROW diagrams and KMZ files as needed for exhibits.
