• Establishes horizontal and vertical control systems for highway projects using GPS equipment and Trimble Business Center software
• Collects topography data for roadway design using TMOSS
• Drafts and submits monument records for PLSS monuments
• Creates ROW plans by drawing and annotating ROW lines, property lines, and topography
• Certifies with professional seal all work performed under the position's responsible charge
• Trains field crews in surveying equipment and data analysis
• Researches archived ROW plans/survey documents for CDOT staff and the public
• Abides by all safety regulations and completes required safety training
