Job summary

WWC Engineering is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to perform field surveys and related office duties for diverse property projects in Billings, MT. The role involves establishing legal boundaries, preparing legal descriptions, and coordinating with engineers and clients to ensure accurate, compliant surveys.

Experience with GPS, total stations, UAVs, and Trimble/AutoCAD tools is preferred, along with a Montana license or the ability to obtain it within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering preferred.
• Professional licensure as a Land Surveyor in Montana or the ability to become licensed within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Executes land surveys to establish legal boundaries.
• Researches historical maps and land records, including previous surveys.
• Prepares and maintains data, plots, records, and legal descriptions.
• Records survey results with dimensions, location, contours, and elevation.
• Uses GPS, total stations, levels, UAVs to collect data for reports.
• Supervises survey technicians and coordinates with project managers.
