This hands-on role requires expertise in mineral management and strong problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will manage ownership discrepancies, monitor leases, and provide clear reports on complex mineral issues.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in oil and gas land administration or related technical role.
• Strong understanding of mineral ownership, title analysis, division orders, leases, and royalty administration.
• Experience resolving royalty discrepancies and ownership issues.
• Ability to interpret deeds, probate docs, title opinions, and other ownership instruments.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with multi-project management.

Responsibilities

• Perform mineral and royalty ownership analysis, title research, and division order review.
• Investigate and resolve ownership discrepancies, suspended royalties, and revenue issues.
• Review mineral deeds, assignments, probate docs, title opinions, leases, and land agreements.
• Calculate and verify net mineral acres, royalty interests, and division order decimals.
• Maintain accurate mineral ownership, lease, well, and contract records across client portfolios.
• Assist onboarding of new mineral portfolios with verification and data reconciliation.
• Monitor drilling activity, production, ownership changes, and lease obligations.
• Communicate with clients, operators, and attorneys to resolve issues.
• Prepare reports and explain complex ownership/royalty matters to clients.
• Manage incoming correspondence and ensure timely requests.
