Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; Energy Commerce/Management preferred.
• 7+ years in-house oil and gas land experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Familiar with AI-powered tools for efficiency.
• Strong research and math skills for title work.
• Clear, professional written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven.
• RPL or CPL designation preferred.
• Division order knowledge a plus.
• Experience with DocVue and LandWorks a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations on oil and gas leases and related agreements.
• Own complex land assignments from review to completion.
• Assist due diligence on acquisitions and divestitures, including title review.
• Run title chains and division of interest calculations.
• Develop ownership reports for management.
• Maintain land data in management software; seek automation opportunities.
• Prepare spreadsheets and presentations using Excel/Office.
