Job summary

NV5 seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to join its land development engineering group in Florida. The Senior Project Manager will lead project design, permitting, and calculations, ensuring compliance with FDEP, WMD, and local codes, while coordinating with clients, agencies, and project teams.

Candidates should have 8+ years in land development, 3+ years in PM, a Florida PE, a BS in civil or agricultural engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil3D; willingness to travel and pass DMV

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years land development engineering experience.
Minimum 3 years project management experience.
Bachelor's degree in civil or agricultural engineering.
Florida PE License.
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D.
Stormwater and utility experience.
Must pass mandatory DMV check.

Responsibilities

Lead project design and permitting, calculations; ensure compliance with FDEP, WMD, local codes.
Manage and communicate with project teams, clients, and agencies.
Perform site visits as needed; attend external meetings.
Land development projects include commercial, residential, municipalities, subdivisions, schools and more.
