Job summary

Bohler's Warrenton, VA office is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex land development projects in the DMV, overseeing design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting. You will act as the primary client contact, drive outcomes, and ensure Bohler’s standards are reflected in every project.

You will mentor Assistant Project Managers and staff, oversee contracts and invoicing, and collaborate with leadership on business growth while promoting quality control and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of civil/site design and permitting experience in land development.
• Proven success in managing project delivery and client relationships.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience overseeing budgets, contracts, and staff development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design software.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project delivery, including design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Serve as the primary client contact and ensure expectations are met through clear communication and proactive leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Project Managers and technical staff.
• Oversee financial performance, including contracts, invoicing, and change management.
• Present at public hearings, client meetings, and community sessions as needed.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on business development and account growth.
• Promote quality control, innovation, and continuous improvement within your team.
