Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer registration in Maryland.
• 8+ years of progressive civil engineering and land development design experience.
• Experience managing and developing staff.
• Strong ability to develop and review plans and collaborate with engineers, planners, and surveyors.
• Experience with Montgomery County projects is a plus.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering and land development projects from initiation through completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and provide responsive, solutions-oriented service.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor engineers, designers, and other project team members.
• Coordinate staff assignments, workloads, and project priorities.
• Oversee project quality control and the technical review of plans and deliverables.
• Develop proposals, scopes of work, project budgets, and fee estimates.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, financial performance, and invoicing.
• Provide team members with regular feedback, coaching, and recognition.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to advance company goals.
• Support business development and help cultivate new and existing client relationships.
