Job summary

Soltesz is seeking a Team Leader – Land Development Design in our Waldorf, Maryland office. This leadership role involves managing a diverse portfolio of land development projects, mentoring engineers, and building strong client relationships to support the growth of Southern Maryland operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Maryland PE license, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and 10–12 years of related experience, including 5+ years supervising staff and proven client communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Maryland PE license is required.
• 10–12 years of land development design experience.
• 5+ years supervising technical staff.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering and land development projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Lead project schedules, budgets, profitability, and invoicing.
• Prepare proposals and support business development efforts.
• Represent clients during public meetings, presentations, and hearings.
• Mentor and develop engineers and designers.
• Oversee project quality and resource planning.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve firm goals.
