Kimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Project Manager to expand our Land Development practice in Richmond, VA. You will lead a team, manage key client relationships, and drive growth with autonomy and an emphasis on profitability.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience managing land development projects.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Extensive client contacts with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners.
• Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Business development and marketing experience including proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work.
• Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner.
• Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably.

• Lead a Land Development team while building and managing relationships with key clients.
• Provide vision, business planning and strategy; establish goals.
• Communicate openly with partners and team.
• Grow and lead the land development practice.
• Manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, and mentor team.
