Job summary

Afflatus LLC invites an experienced Senior Project Manager (Land Development) to lead and expand land development operations in the Phoenix market and surrounding Arizona regions.

The role oversees a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, providing leadership to engineering teams, managing client relationships, and supporting business development. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise and established industry ties in Arizona.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Arizona.
• 10+ years of experience managing land development projects.
• Strong background in residential, commercial, and mixed-use development.
• Proven experience leading project teams, managing clients, and overseeing permitting processes.
• Strong knowledge of land development design principles, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience mentoring and supervising technical staff and project teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle, guiding design, scope, schedule and budget.
• Manage land development projects from site evaluation through design, permitting, approvals, and construction support.
• Coordinate project teams to ensure quality, efficiency and technical excellence; drive successful completion.
• Monitor progress, budgets and schedules with strong QA/QC practices.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering staff and junior project managers.
